Here is our company for The Revolutionary Revue, our featured show for the 2016-17 season —
Nathan is a relative newcomer to the magical world of musical theater. When not on stage, Nathan chairs a State Board that oversees economic development among small and mid-sized businesses throughout Oregon. He can enthusiastically talk policy for long stretches. Nathan will play Uncle Sam, the host of The Revolutionary Revue.
Alessandra is a long-time JET performer, appearing in our prior production of The Revolutionary Revue and JET’s summer tour of All I Need. She has played the bemused Alice in JET’s Alice in Mathland and enjoys spreading love and light through musical theater.
Austin Henry Peters
Austin has been doing musical theater for as long as he can remember and loves every minute of it. He has been seen as Hugo Peabody in Birdie and John Brooke in Little Women. His favorite role to date is Bobby Strong from Urinetown. We welcome Austin!
Sunday Manisto Saari
Not only has Lizzy done just about everything in musical theater, she also has degrees in psychology, neuroscience and theater. This means she can explain–probably in song and dance, even–the emotional/mental causation of applause, of which she has received plenty in her twenty stage appearances. JET welcomes her aboard.
Becca has been busy theatrically throughout Oregon and Washington. A Spokane native, Becca appeared frequently with the Spokane Civic Theater, including The Heidi Chronicles and Beauty and the Beast. She is also a versatile dancer, able to cut loose with jazz, tango, salsa and swing. We welcome her to the company.
Camille has appeared on stages throughout NW Oregon as well as her alma mater, the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She also teaches regularly at Northwest Children’s Theater, where she was most recently seen as Fiona in Shrek. Camille wears many important hats at JET. Not only is she our Production Manager, but also serves as our swing, capable of going on stage for three different performers in a moment’s notice. We’re glad she’s a part of JET. (And she can raise the roof with “Gimme, Gimme.” Ask her to sing it sometime–you’ll be amazed!)
David is our music arranger, conductor and pianist. He has been in the music and entertainment business for thirty-five years with a hundred-fifty plus shows to his credit in Europe and North America. He maintains a busy teaching schedule from his studio on Hawthorne. David@DavidHastingsStudios.com.
By day, you’ll find Deb programming computers as a Cyber-Master. By night, she dons the shades and walks away on the bass.
Mitch plays every wind instrument ever invented-we think. And banjo.
JET’s Artistic Board
Lydia serves on the JET Artistic Board advising us on all things artistic, as you might guess. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater from Columbia College in Chicago. Favorite shows include The Music Man, Hello, Dolly!, and A Winter’s Tale. Lydia sings in a soaring soprano and has training in jazz dance.
Lydia most recently performed the Madeleine Roles in JET’s Alice in Mathland.
